2022 Local 4th of July Festivities and Fireworks

Summer has officially begun and we’re getting close to the Independence Day holiday on July 4th! This means plenty of cookouts, a swim in the pool, time with family and friends, and of course, fireworks! Here’s a list of local celebrations happening throughout the area:

Auburn – Thursday, June 30th

Location: Pappas Recreation Complex

Location: Hayward Field on North Avenue

Boston – Monday, July 4th

Location: The Hatch Shell & Charles River Esplanade

Chelmsford – Saturday, July 2nd – Monday, July 4th

Fitchburg – Sunday, July 3rd

Location: Fireworks are being shot off from Rollstone Hill, with viewing locations throughout the city

Gloucester – Sunday, July 3rd

Location: The Boulevard

The traditional Horribles parade kicks off the day with live music and family fun, with the fireworks starting at 10 PM. For more info, click here.

Halifax – Saturday, June 25th

Milford – Saturday, June 25th

Location: Charles River (near the Moody Street bridge) & Prospect Hill Park

Fireworks begin at dusk on Friday, July 1st, with a festival happening from 10 AM – 2 PM on Saturday, July 2nd with music, games, amusements, and more at Prospect Hill Park! For more info, click here.
